S pring always comes again. Even when things seem forever dimmed, the sun comes through again and cherry blossoms bloom. I can barley remember what year this was, what collection this barrette was from. Maybe 2015. It's vintage lace & recycled fabrics glued onto a Goody hair clip. I saw the sand cherry growing in our front yard & clipped a few sprays to tuck into the model, Jaime's hair.  As I'm writing this, it is Spring again, now 2023. Lots has changed. I lost both of my beautiful grandmothers & two beloved cats who were like my babies. It feels a bit dismal some days which I know is normal in grief. Yet Spring is hear; I can feel myself getting excited again about planting flowers in my Ma's garden with my mom. And I started crafting jewelry pieces again. Feeling interested in creating again. It's a very hopeful feeling and I am so grateful for it.
