Edible Flowers

One of my most favourite things has to be cake (sometimes before dinner). And when flowers are added, well, life is complete...at least for that moment. I baked this cake in 2011, for a family celebration. Added some organic flowers that were so expensive but completely worth every penny because of the wow factor. I wish I had a picture that showed all the layers of cake and icing inside.

 I wonder what a cake covered in dried edible flowers & macarons would look like?
